屹立美國政壇數十年的資深聯邦參議員馬侃（John McCain）25日因腦癌過世，享壽81歲。
馬侃辦公室25日發出聲明：「參議員約翰·席德尼·馬侃三世在2018年8月25日下午4時28分辭世。參議員離世時，他的妻子欣蒂和家人都陪同在側。在他臨終前，他忠誠為美國服務60年。」
