台灣空軍司令部發佈新聞稿指出，空軍台東基地2架F-5E/F型機（編號5403、5261號），於上月22日上午10時50分執行例行性訓練，上午11時19分返回基地時，因天氣不佳，經飛行員緊急應變，運用攔截裝備成功將降落到地面的飛機截停。

One of two MQ-4C Triton unmanned aircraft systems (UASs) crashed yesterday on a Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC), Calif., base runway following an inflight mechanical issue and landing gear failure.
The Triton experienced an “inflight mechanical issue” during a test flight around 2:45 pm on Wednesday, spokesperson for Naval Air Force Atlantic (CNAL) said in a statement.
