在一些電影跟電視劇會看到潛艦官兵去槍房領槍的畫面，知道水面艦艇通常會有軍械庫，但是潛艦這種很少去做登艦檢查的船隻會有嗎？

老牌海軍艦艇配置輕兵器很尋常
有可能是從遠古時期的跳幫戰術流傳下來的
而且理論上就算你不想俘虜敵船但你至少不想被敵船俘虜對吧

最後船上的軍械庫還有鎮壓艦艇叛亂的用途...

On my 637 class sub, back in the 1990s, we had a small arms locker that contained maybe a half dozen very old 1911 model Colt .45s, a few 12 gauge shotguns, and a few rifles that may have been M1s [edit - more likely they were M14s].
We did not have a lot of firepower, and most of the sailors who stood topside watch in port were barely qualified to use the weapons.
