美空軍退役F-15、A-10等近百架軍機
獲國會初步同意

陸空戰術部隊小組分別同意美國空軍於明（2024）年除役42架A-10「疣豬」攻擊機，以及57架F-15C/D「鷹式」戰鬥機，此次審查報告將於本月23日送交眾議院表決。
然而，這篇報告於「疣豬」攻擊機除役計畫之中補充附帶條件，即空軍須擬定一份維持飛行員密接空中支援（close air support）能力的訓練計畫，反之，國會將否決A-10攻擊機後續除役規劃，直到空軍將相關計畫送至國會。

美空軍、雷神聯手
完成首座臺板式雷射武器測試

美國空軍與軍工企業雷神公司（Raytheon），日前合作在位於新墨西哥州的白沙飛彈測試場（White Sands Missile Range），進行首座臺板式（palletized）高能雷射武器的實彈測試，這也是美國空軍接收的第4座雷射武器系統。

這次進行測試、代號「H4」的雷射武器，是根據美軍對於獨立式構型需求所打造的首座10瓩功率武器系統，使其能便於移動，並且架設於任何地點。

隨著 F-35 各型號於 2015～2019 陸續服役，洛克希德馬丁也為這款戰機規劃各種後續升級，目前進行中分別是「科技更新 3」（Technology Refresh 3）和「批次 4」（Block 4）的軟體和硬體升級計畫。

TR3 的重點是全新的電腦系統架構以及作業軟體，而 Block 4 則是硬體上的更新，包括 Sidekick 新型飛彈掛架、雷達、網路、光電和電戰系統升級。

不過做為服役之後最大幅度的升級，TR3 的開發也出現了許多問題，導致軟硬體之間整合始終不盡理想，也導致 2023 年度預算超支了約 15 億美元，遭到美國國會政府責任署（GAO）點名批評。

飛行服務隊引入亞洲首部H175直升機模擬飛行訓練器
節省機師訓練時間

政府飛行服務隊今日於赤臘角模擬飛行中心發布亞洲首部H175直升機模擬飛行訓練器，斥資1.16億。
新模擬器於上年11月開始投入服務，已進行2000飛行小時。
模擬器的系統根據H175 直升機訓練，是繼法國後全球第二台直升機模擬器。
胡機長指過往於法國進行的民航機師考核能於香港進行，而模擬訓練亦能於不同天氣下使用，能將7-8年的訓練時間縮短至6-7年。
