James Tolkan (1931 - 2026) was an American actor who was known for his role as Principal/Marshal Strickland in all 3 films of the Back to the Future trilogy.
He also had roles in such films as Top Gun, Masters of the Universe and Serpico.
He passed away in March of 2026 at the age of 94.
